BORN PRETTY STORE REVIEW!

Friday, February 12, 2016

Hey everyone!
Its been a while since I posted anything up. Sorry about that! I got so busy with university and it got quite hard for me to keep up!
Anyway, this post has been long awaited and I can't believe I'm finally getting to post it!
Today, I will be reviewing an online store called Born Pretty Store that reached out to me a couple months ago.
They sent me a brush set as well as 2 matte liquid lipsticks.
  1. BRUSH SET: This brush set is amazing! It's a 20 piece brush set that goes for $6.99 and honestly, for that price, they're up there! They don't shed, some are great for applying eyeshadow, and some of them can be used for contour and concealer. My favourite from the set is the small angled brush. I use it to apply my eyebrow powder, and I love the way it shapes my eyebrows!

       2. 2 MATTE LIQUID LIPSTICKS: I got 2 liquid lipsticks, cause you know how much I love lip products. I got the shade numbers 22 and 2. They are both $2! One is a pink rosy shade and the other is a dark pink berry colour. I love the second one since it does suit my complexion a bit better. The coverage is amazing, however there are 2 things I don't quite like about it. First of all it does not dry to matte. It has that tacky feeling to it, which I do not like! You could apply some translucent powder to it if you want to mattify it though. I also don't like the smell to it. It kinda smells like paint and that is what turns me off from wearing it a lot!

These two products literally costs about $12!
That is quite a bargain, especially for the brushes.
For those of you who are thinking of checking out www. bornprettystore.com, then don't worry I got ya'll with a 10% discount! Just put in the code AMMH10 for that discount.
They sell makeup, clothing, accessories and much more with free shipping worldwide.
You can also click on the image above to check out their website.
Thank you all for reading this post and I hope you liked it!
Let me know if  you're thinking of getting anything from them.
I wanted to end it with a beautiful sunset I took a picture of in front of my house.
The sky was on fire.. beautiful.
Love you lots!

WHATS IN MY BAG?

Friday, October 2, 2015

Hello Everyone!
Today I decided to write a "What's in my Bag" post. My friend actually recommended this post to me and she reminded me how much I loved watching and reading What's in my Bag posts! We all have a curious side to us to know what others have in their bags, especially me. So, I decided to do one myself.

PURSE:

I always change the bags I use but I am currently LOVING the Tommy Hilfiger purse. It's small, light and beautiful, of course.  It fits all the necessities I need when I'm out and it's size makes it easy to carry it around.

RAY BAN SUNGLASSES:

These are the sunglasses I always carry around with me. I think I talked about them in another post but I just love these. They're light and really easy to store. Perfect for everyday use.

PEN:

Well, it's a pen. Nothing interesting about that!

SIGNORINA BODY LOTION:

I've currently been obsessed with Salvatore Ferragamo's Perfume called Signorina. I currently carry the body lotion with me wherever I go and I spray some of the perfume on me before I leave. It has such an amazing scent. I'm not really good at describing scents but it has a strong floral scent. I just love it.

COIN PURSE:

I just found this purse lying in the house and so I decided to use it for carrying loose change or important receipts. The main reason I use it is cause of its colour. I've been loving caramel and beige colours these days.

GUESS Wallet:

This has been my go to wallet for a long time. I love the size and it fits all of my important stuff perfectly. Again, the colour tells you why I just HAD to get it!

SMALL PURSE:

I carry a small purse around with me that has basic makeup essentials like mascara, lipstick and setting powder. I know it seems like I don't need 3 mascaras but I honestly need to learn how to pack light! From the picture, I have the MAC, Maybelline and Loreal Mascara. I also carry the New Maybelline Lipstick which I will be writing a review on since these are hands down, the best matte lippies Maybelline came out with. I also have the Sephora, Vasanti, and Mac Lipsticks in my bag as well. Lastly, I am also carrying my MAC concealer, Vasanti Foundation and Maybelline Setting Powder. Oops, I forgot to mention my little sharpener as well!

Well, thats it for this post!
I hoped you enjoyed reading it and I'd love to hear what you keep in your bags/purses.
Love you lots!

MAC EXTENDED PLAY LASH MASCARA REVIEW

Tuesday, August 25, 2015

A few days ago, I went shopping with my family and we stopped by the MAC Store to pick up a few lipsticks and other items we needed. I decided to try out one of their mascaras since I never bought one from MAC before. I picked up the MAC Extended Play Lash Mascara which was $20CAD and after applying it a few times, it's become one of my favourite mascaras.

This is an amazing mascara. It lengthens and separates beautifully! No clumping and no smudging whatsoever. The brush is slim and gets every single lash. I do 2 coats which is enough to give your lashes a beautiful defining effect. If you are looking for more volume though, I wouldn't go this route. Length and definition is what it does! All in all, I would definitely recommend this mascara to those looking to try out a MAC mascara.

I hope you enjoyed my review! Please leave a comment below as to what your favourite mascara is!
Love you lots.

MY EID WISHLIST!

Wednesday, July 15, 2015

Hello Everyone!
Can you believe that we're already half way through the month?
Time is literally passing us by so fast we don't even realize it.  Ramadhan is almost over, yet it still feels like we just started it yesterday! Everyone is excited that Eid is around the corner but it's also sad that Ramadhan has come to an end.
Today, I decided to share with you all my wishlist for Eid. Since Eid is a few days away, I feel that I have an excuse to treat myself with items that I've desperately wanted to get!

The first item on my wishlist is the iPhone 6.

I have been wanting this product for quite some time now and I just need a new phone. I currently have the HTC One and I'm really tired of it. I've had it for more than a year and so I just feel that I need to get a new phone. The camera quality also played a  huge part in my decision to buy it.

The second item I want to get is the Urban Decay Naked Smokey Palette which came out a few days ago.
I watched Kathleen Lights review about this product on Youtube and I fell in love. The palette is gorgeous and all the shades go wonderfully together. I love smokey eye looks and I just feel that this would be a perfect palette for that.

The third item on my wishlist is the Glamglow Supermud Clearing Treatment.

I've seen so many good reviews regarding this product and I feel that this is what I need for my skin at the moment. I have a lot of problems with my skin so I want to see if this mask could help make it more clearer. It is a little pricey but I honestly don't mind. I can and will do whatever it takes to get my skin to where I want it to be!

The fourth item I want to get is something I've wanted for a long time and it's the Michael Kors Sutton Safiano Leather Medium Satchel.

This bag is gorgeous and I love everything about it. The design, the colour, the size, everything! I would be the happiest woman in the world if I could get my hands on this bag.

The last product I wanted to get is the Black Lace Gown from Inayah.

This is a beautiful dress that can go with anything! It is especially perfect for Eid. Inayah has great Islamic Modern Clothes for women and I hope I can buy some of their items one day.

If you want further information on the products, just click on the highlighted words. It will lead you to their website.

Thanks so much for reading my posts! If you are thinking of buying anything, then please comment down below and tell me about it!
Love you lots.

SUMMER ESSENTIALS!

Wednesday, July 8, 2015

Hello everyone! It's been a while since my last post and I apologize for that! I just got really busy with my siblings graduation as well as Ramadhan so I didn't really have time to post anything.
Anyways, lets get straight into this post!
Today, I decided to share with you all my summer essentials and what I usually use during this hot weather.
Toronto is known for its bipolar weather and so my essentials include a wide range of items.

First off, I wanna start off with my sunglasses.

These are my Ray Ban sunglasses and just like all sunglasses, they protect my eyes from the sun. They are super cute and are so helpful when driving around from place to place since it blocks the sunlight from my eyes.

The next thing I want to share with you all are the two lipsticks I use so much during this season.

These are the swatches of the two lipsticks.
The one on the left is Covergirl Colourlicious Lipstick in the shade Eternal Ruby (318). I love the formula of these lipsticks so much! It's so creamy and the it last on my lips for a good amount of time considering it isn't a matte lipstick. I also love the shade since it's bright and colourful making it perfect for summer. On the right is Nars Pure Matte Lipstick in the shade Mascate. This is a beautiful, bold, red lipstick that lasts FOREVER on the lips. It is on the pricey side but these lipsticks are well worth it if you're looking for a good matte formula. I just love wearing this lipstick over a lipliner during sunny days! It's gorgeous!

The third thing I want to share is actually one of my favourite pieces of clothing I own. It's my jean jacket.

I bought it last year from GARAGE for $50CAD and I'm glad I bought it. I always wear it during the summer since it goes with everything I wear. I just pair it up with a cute dress and some Gladiators. Speaking of Gladiators..

I've been loving these gladiators that my aunt bought for me from America. It's from Michael Kors and they are so comfy to walk on. Most importantly, they go with everything I wear!

Last but definitely not least, I want to share with you all my favourite scent of the summer.

I got this from Victorias Secret and it's called Love Spell. It's smells heavenly. It's fruity and sweet and honestly, if I could eat it I would! I cannot leave my home without it and as you can see, I'm almost done half of the bottle already.

I hope you all enjoyed reading my post today! I hope you all leave me a comment down below as to what your summer essentials are so that I could reply to them!
As for all of you fasting this month of Ramadhan, I hope you have a blessed month and enjoy the last days we have! God willing, you're blessings will be accepted!
Love you lots!

VITAGOODS SPIN FOR PERFECT SKIN REVIEW + 70% OFF COUPON!

Sunday, May 24, 2015

Hello Everyone!
Today, I'll be doing a review on my cleansing brush called Spin For Perfect Skin that was created by VitaGoods .
I bought this brush a couple months ago because I heard such good reviews about it! So I decided to try it out to see what all the hype was about. The brush comes in a kit with a large body brush head, a pumice stone head, a cleanser head and an exfoliater head. I also received a booklet that had a coupon! I felt that with all the accessories I got in this kit made this cleanser brush a stellar deal!

PLEASE EXCUSE THE DIRTY HEADS! I'VE USED THESE FOR A COUPLE MONTHS NOW AND THEY AREN'T IN THEIR PERFECT STATE!
What I love most is the cleanser head.  I have sensitive skin and this brush makes it so easy to work with! It's so soft and it doesn't need a lot of product. I just put a little bit of my cleanser on and it helps to form lather quite easily on my face. It'll definitely work well with those who have sensitive skin like me!

It also came with an exfoliator head that looks just like the cleanser head but just a but more rough. I use it to apply my scrub. I do this 2-3 times a week and it leaves me with baby smooth skin! I also received the large body brush head which I use every time I take a shower. I use it all over my body and it leaves my skin looking clean and feeling soft. One thing I didn't like about this head was that I needed to keep adding more product on my head since it didn't lather the product well enough. Other than that, the brush is really good.

I also received the pumice head which I do not regularly use. When I do, it takes off most of my dead skin on my sole. Getting this head as an addition also made me really happy.

This brush is actually not chargeable and it runs on AA batteries. I actually don't have a problem with that since it doesn't need the batteries to be replaced often. I've had it for about 4 months now and I didn't replace my batteries yet. It is also waterproof so you can use it in your shower or under the sink. It won't break down.

This brush retails at $99.99 but if you use the promo code Spin7AM at http://vanityplanet.com/spin-for-perfect-skin-349 then you will receive a 70% off discount which means that you'll only have to pay $30! That's why I feel that this product actually stands out, especially because of it's price.
I love the way this brush makes my skin feel. It does feel a lot more smoother, and softer after regular use.

I definitely recommend this brush to anyone who wants to get clearer and healthy skin! I am satisfied with this product and I hope you all like it!
Thanks for reading!
Love you lots!
